How to become a Pilot in India​

1) Eligibility Criteria For Pilot :

  • Age: Minimum 17 years for Student Pilot License (SPL).
  • Education: 10+2 with Physics, Maths, and English OR equivalent.
  • Medical Fitness: Pass Class 2 and Class 1 medical exams by a DGCA-approved examiner before Flight Training.

    3) DGCA Pilot Computer Number :

Consider facilities, aircraft fleet, experienced instructors, and placement assistance. Once enrolled, the flight school will guide you in obtaining an SPL and other necessary documents. After completing your flight training and meeting DGCA requirements, you will receive a Commercial Pilot’s License.

    5) Type Rating :

    To fly commercial aircraft, you may need to undergo type rating training, which is specific to the aircraft type you intend to operate.
